'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson's scored 92.15 percent on the Golden Ratio scale which measures physical perfection. Henry Cavill came in second with a score of 91.64 percent, followed by Bradley Cooper with 91.08.
Robert Pattinson has been declared as 'the most beautiful man in the world' by Dr. Julian De Silva, who runs the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery in London. He is a plastic surgeon who arrived at this conclusion based on the science of beauty aka the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi which measures physical perfection.

In his Instagram post, De Silva wrote: The Golden Ratio was a mathematical equation devised by the Greeks in an attempt to measure beauty. This ratio can be applied to anything and was used by Leonardo Da Vinci for the perfect human male body in his famous work, the Vitruvian Man. The premise behind this is that the closer the ratios of a face or body are to the number 1.618 (Phi), the more beautiful they become.
According to Yahoo, 33-year-old Pattinson's "eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw, and facial shape were measured against other celebrities and his make-up meant he came closest to the ancient Greeks’ idea of perfection." He scored 92.15 percent. De Silva added: Robert Pattinson was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.
De Silva compiled the list of celebrities "using the latest computerized mapping techniques". He believes that this technology "allows us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery."
The other celebrities who made it to this top ten list include Henry Cavill who came in second with a score of 91.64 percent, followed by Bradley Cooper who came in close with 91.08 percent. Brad Pitt took fourth place. He received a 90.15 percent on the Golden Ratio scale. Previous winner, George Clooney, however, slipped down to the fifth place. De Silva said, "the effect of ageing resulted in a loss of volume in the face, giving him a score of 89.91%." Footballer David Beckham "had a near-perfect ratio in the size of his nose and his lips, and had the most chiselled chin." He scored 88.96 percent bagging the seventh place.
In the eighth, ninth and tenth place was Idris Elba, Kanye West and Ryan Gosling who scored 88.01, 87.94 and 87.48 percent respectively.
