This Horror Loving Dog Watched 'The Conjuring' And Her Reaction Is All Of Us

It's truly an incredible video that goes on to perfectly show how a dog's instincts are always on point. She just knows that there is an imminent threat around (even if it's only on the TV screen).

There are many reactions that people have when watching a horror movie. Naturally, you have a major portion of individuals who are glued to their seats ready to gasp or shriek in fear of the incoming ghostly sighting. And then there are those who try to brave the movie by putting themselves in place of the characters on screen and telling themselves that it's better to face the evil and live than succumb to fear and die. Lastly, you also have the kind who try to dismiss the horror by making jokes and trying to keep an amusing mood so that they don't get carried away.

Regardless of which type you are, we can all agree that horror movies are hella fun to watch. We found a video of a really special doggie who sat to watch a horror movie and her reactions are priceless. “Khaleesi the bulldog loves watching horror movies and always tries to protect any potential victims from harm,” writes the canine’s owner Dawn Curran. “She is especially vocal when children are in danger as seen in this clip,” comments Khaleesi’s human.

It's truly an epic video that goes on to perfectly show how a dog's instincts are always on point. There is no chill in Khaleesi's vibe as she just knows that there is an imminent threat around (even if it's only on the TV screen). Notice how she gets excited and barks more vigorously every time the scene turns a bit more intense. She even notices when the character on screen is feeling fear the most as the dog raises her voice at exactly the right time. They are very sensitive to energies and dogs, in general, are also believed to detect passing spirits.

The movie that was being played was The Conjuring, a recent classic that has gone on to establish itself firmly in horror folklore.  When the movie released, there were so many people who admitted to being truly shell shocked at the intense bits of horror in several scenes. Khaleesi was no different, but she is a brave one and chose to bark at the threat rather than whimper and run away. The final bit towards the end was the best. As the door shuts (courtesy of the ghost) and shuts with a bang, Khaleesi was nearly on her feet and ready to spring at the TV. If she was somehow wearing 3D glasses it's over for the screen as she would have certainly lunged at it.

People reacted to this footage with a lot of glee, but there were mixed responses too. According to Distractify,  One commentator wrote: “Calm down, dog. I’ve been yelling at dumbasses in horror movies for years. It never helps. They’re dead.” While another added: “Conclusive proof that horror movie protagonists really are less intelligent than dogs. Come on, writers.” Others were more concerned about Khaleesi. "Dogs going to have nightmares for days," a commenter wrote.

Well Khaleesi, you've certainly proved your mettle by watching a dark and scary movie on your own, with no one to hold on to. We all love to watch horror movies, and getting scared is certainly part of the experience, but we're gonna remember you in case it ever gets a bit too overwhelming for us.
