A Pencil Is Hidden Among This Stack Of Books. Can You Find It In 20 Seconds?

Most people struggle to find it within 20 seconds. It's a lot more difficult than it looks.

Oh well, if we are all going to be stuck at home we might as well make the most out of it. While we sit indoors and contemplate on a wide range of subjects from the cure to the disease to the meaning of existence, we chance upon some really intriguing brainteasers and puzzles on the internet. There are many ways to help pass the time but this is one way where you can even sharpen your brainpower and awareness.

While physical activity might have been gone for a toss thanks to the self-quarantine, we can still keep our mind ticking and ready to solve problems. We have one on our hands today, a relatively simple-looking puzzle but don't let the looks fool you, it's harder than we thought. Challenge is always made better when you think of it as fun and not a drag. The Sun reports that this picture has several books stacked up from end to end and it was created by distance learning provider' Oxbridge. They even went on to claim that many people struggled quite a bit to figure it out within the given timeframe - 20 seconds.

These puzzles are a really cool way to test your senses and presence of mind. As well as providing some fun entertainment, the brainteaser is also promoting Oxbridge’s £60,000 bursary fund.  That's really neat, help yourself as you help others! We are pleased to see such initiatives and hope there are more on the way.

Oxbridge founder, Matt Jones, said: “It’s our responsibility and attitude as a college to help people change their lives for the better." We hope this funding continues to help those in need attain the qualifications for re-employment, taking the opportunity for a career change or personal development.

Brainteasers like these and many others are truly some fun and innovative ways to promote education. We had all complained about going to school when we were children and now that we think about it, we could really benefit from such fun exercises. Oxbridge is doing exactly that as they want to take it to a whole other level in helping people who want to pursue their education.

According to USA Today Post, "Oxbridge said that the courses which have received the most interest during lockdown are those which increasing their functional skills to assist with re-employment like GCSEs and core skills courses, gaining qualifications to help others with their mental health, for example, Counselling and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) courses and skills to start their own businesses, specifically in childcare and event planning."
