December is turning out to be more and more magical and you definitely don't want to miss this celestial phenomenon when the full moon peaks at 12:12 on December 12.
As 2019 is coming to an end, it is not only the end of a year, but an entire decade is coming to an end. A lot of 'lasts' will take place pretty soon, but tomorrow, you might also get to witness the very last and final full moon of the decade.
This full moon is said to be a pretty special one as it is the last full moon of this year and it will peak at 12:12 on December 12, reported ABC 7.
As we move towards the #WinterSolstice, the #FullMoon on 12th Dec is known as the #ColdMoon or #LongNightsMoon, so-called by Native American tribes in honour of the many hours of freezing darkness we now share. 12:12 am USA, 5:12 am UK, 4:12 pm Aust. #FolkloreThursday #Stonehenge pic.twitter.com/YyC4cClQFo— Maude Frome (@frome_maude) December 10, 2019
Make sure to look out your window on December 12 or take a moment to stand on your porch and gaze at the moonlit sky. The full moon will reach its peak on December 12, or 12/12 at 12:12 and the combination of numbers is sure to blow your mind.
This celestial event is called a cold moon in some regions or a Long Night's Moon, especially among some Native American Tribes as it marks the beginning of the cold weather as explained by The Old Farmer's Almanac.

While people who are residing in the eastern time zone can catch the full moon on 12/12 at 12:12 am, but people who are living in Kansas City can see the full moon peaking on 12/11, at 11:12 pm.
As reported by Fox4kc.com experts said, "This full moon is distinctive for its high trajectory across the sky, causing it to sit above the horizon for a longer period of time."
Since this is the very last full moon of the decade it might also be a unique significance to the palindrome. While explaining the importance of the number 12, the Farmer's Almanac also said, "The number 12 is at the very end of the numerology spectrum, and it offers those who see it in their daily life the opportunity to... wrap up a certain life stage and situation before moving forward to bigger and better things. This number is like a curtain call that allows you to get your affairs together so you can benefit from the windfall that the universe is about to bestow on you."
Mark this on your calendar...The next full moon is on the 12th day of the 12th month and if you are in the #Toronto area the moon will be full at 12:12 AM. And if you add it up 2+0+1+9 =12. Now that’s fun and a bit spooky but what does it mean? #Coldmoon pic.twitter.com/EiVHomNfL0— Roger Klein (@RKleinCTV) December 3, 2019
Apart from that, certain days of the month were also highlighted in the calendar as they are better for carrying out certain acts.
