Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, the two legendary actresses, are back to reprise their roles as Grace and Frankie, our favorite small-screen BFFs.
They're back, they're back! Who can deny the chemistry between Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin? The two legendary actresses are back to reprise their roles as Grace and Frankie, our favorite small-screen BFFs. Don't you just love the fact that the cast isn't your typical generation of people in their 20s and 30s?
The two protagonists of the show have been breaking all stereotypes revolving around age, lifestyle and many others. From the co-creators of F.R.I.E.N.D.S, this is one season you don't want to miss!

It all started with season 1 where the lives of two women change when they find out their husbands are in love... with each other! And the rest, as they say, is history. Following the two women on their crazy adventure is a ride you'd want to get on too. Especially now that the seasons are soon coming to a close.
Talking about how the show should end Tomlin said that she expects Fonda and herself to be “going out swinging.” “I’m hoping that we come to some epiphanous, profound realization because of our age,” Tomlin told Variety. “A realization of how much we might owe to other people on the planet, how much we might have fixed things for the kids that are coming. We want to make it funny and heartfelt and fix the world. It doesn’t look good for the kids right now, and Jane (Fonda) and I will probably escape the vicissitudes of it, but we want to say something to those who won’t.”
Meanwhile, as 82-year-old Jane Fonda continues to protest against climate change, it's clear Tomlin is a supporter of Fonda in real life too. “I support Jane; Jane is a real toughie,” said Tomlin, 80, in a new interview with The New York Times. Tomlin and other celebrities joined the series of climate protests in Washington, D.C. organized by Fonda which led to their arrests. Age clearly doesn't defy these women, who are badasses in real life too! So if you still haven't begun watching the show, maybe their off-screen chemistry could kick it off?
Fans of the show, who have already binge-watched previous seasons, get ready for a whole new season of Grace’s new marriage to Nick (Peter Gallagher), heavy drinking, and toilet humor.
Anyone else think that the bond between Grace and Frankie appears to be stronger than ever? The show also stars June Diane Raphael, Brooklyn Decker, Baron Vaughn, and Ethan Embry. And you can watch season 6 on January 15.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the last season of the show will be season 7. The Netflix show will feature 16 episodes, bringing the total episodes to 94. And now that's a record! By then it will be the longest-running series in the history of the streaming service.
