Sarah Paulson Returns To 'American Horror Story' For Season 10

American Horror Story fans are in for a treat as the series has been renewed and show staple, Sarah Paulson returns after sitting out of the ninth season.

After fans were heartbroken to hear that American Horror Story may be canceled after the tenth season they are in for a treat. Not only is the show coming back for three more seasons but it is bringing back with it, series favorite Sarah Paulson. Paulson has been with the AHS franchise since the beginning and was only absent for the recently aired ninth season. Her return to the show is exciting news for the fans who will be seeing her in the tenth season.

"I did ask Ryan if the question was asked to me, could I say that I was coming back, and he said β€˜yes’ you could say. So, yes I will be back on American Horror Story," Paulson revealed at the winter press tour by the Television Critics Association. But details about the role she will be playing is still unknown since the theme of the new season hasn't been released yet. When asked if she would be a series regular she said, "I should hope so," and added that, "God willing" she would be coming back for the three new seasons that were renewed.

The Emmy- award-winning actress has had her hands full. She has been a part of the hit crime anthology The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story, and had to forgo the ninth season of AHS as she was busy with Ratched, the Netflix series by Ryan Murphy as well as the limited series by FX, Mrs. America. She is also prepping for the second season of American Crime Story: Impeachment where she will be playing the role of Linda Tripp, the White House staff who exposed the relationship between Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.

"It's like anything, anytime you're playing a real person, even if you're playing a person who could arguably be considered a villain in a story, you still feel the responsibility to get it right for the piece as a whole. You can't soft-pedal anything just because you as an actor want to be liked, so having Monica around just further implements that feeling and responsibility and need to get it as accurately told as possible," she said. Lewinsky is even the producer of the series. Overall she has been living a very busy life. "I am tired, thanks for asking!" she told E!Online, promising she's just about to head off on vacation. As Paulson returns to AHS the series is going to be very exciting indeed.
