Pennywise Is 'Scarier And Angrier' In 'It Chapter Two', Reveals Bill Skarsgård: 'IT Is Very Brutal'

The dancing clown is all set to haunt Derry again and according to Bill, who plays Pennywise in the movie, things are going to be terrifying.

Only a few months till we see Pennywise on the big screen again and according to Bill Skarsgård, the wait is going to be totally worth it! In the 2017 superhit adaptation of King's novel, the Losers' Club gathered their shit together, somehow, and fought back the scary dancing clown thinking it was the last they'd see of IT but well, that wasn't the case, obviously. The iconic horror villain who feeds on the fear of people is all set to terrorize Derry once again and this time, he is super pissed.

The 28-year-old Swedish actor who plays Pennywise and gives people serious nightmares has revealed that this time around, the clown is going to be 'scarier and angrier.' “He’s scarier and he’s angrier,” Bill told Entertainment Weekly in an interview. “There’s a couple of very brutal things in the film.” The upcoming sequel will serve as the other half of Stephen King's celebrated novel and will be the last movie of the franchise. No more Pennywise? Or, no more Losers' Club? Who will win?

We'll find out soon. It Chapter Two is releasing this 6th of September, in case you don't already know. In the movie, the child cast has been replaced by adult actors namely, James Mcvoy as Bill Denbrough, Jay Ryan as Hanscom, Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh, Bill Hader as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon, Andy Bean as Stanley and James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak. Yes, puberty has hit the Losers' like a rock.

The first official trailer for Chapter Two was released a few weeks back which echoed what Bill is saying about the movie. We see 'Bev' Beverly Marsh return to her house in Derry after years where she meets a weird creepy old lady and let's just say things didn't go so well. On a different note, the old lady trailer was sure good but well, it has run its course. We NEED another, better trailer! And, while they are at it, they should release a better, creepier poster for IT as well.

The first movie was not scary, at all, but it had its moments and was entertaining at best. Here's to hoping Chapter Two is better. Screenwriter Gary Dauberman says the sequel is "definitely bloodier than the first and it is just as scary, if not scarier. The two movies feel like a complete whole. This feels like a natural progression and extension of the first" so you know, IT is worth checking out.

The 2017 movie based on Stephen King's work was a major success and the movie managed to earn a humongous amount of $700.4 million across the globe, not only became one of the highest grossing movies of the year, it became the best performing horror movie of all time, which explains the hype around the sequel. But, will the sequel be scarier? According to director Andy Muschietti, fans should bring 'adult diapers' to theatres...wow. Comic-On and EW have together released a few new snaps from the movie and a special issue featuring the cast of the movie, totally nailing their characters. Check them out below. Are you excited for It Chapter Two?
