This Georgia Aquarium Lets You Scuba Dive With Whale Sharks And Other Sea Creatures

While swimming with the whale sharks, you will be spending the whole time with trainers, hence your safety is completely assured. But would you try it out?

As we enter 2020, we have also made it to a whole new decade altogether. If this is the year where you want to listen to your calling and the year you go all out, then Atlanta provides you the best chance to do that. As reported by Narcity, Georgia Aquarium has a Journey with Gentle Giants program and it completely levels up the game of scuba diving.

In this place, you are given the opportunity to go on a scuba diving session with whale sharks and thousands of other sea creatures like manta rays, in the Ocean Voyager exhibit. Whale sharks are gentle creatures and they prefer planktons over people. This exhibit in Georgia allows dozens of swimmers and divers per day to enter the sharks’ habitat. Even though there are plenty of places in the world where you can go and do the same activity, this is the only opportunity in the world where you will be completely surrounded by sharks and also guaranteed a swim with them.

Also, in the Georgia Aquarium, you don't have to worry about the environmental impact since you are going to be inside a closed and controlled environment. The swim exhibit happens every day around 4:30 p.m. and lasts for two and a half hours and the dive program happens every day around 3 pm. Just a side note, if you are going for the program, then you HAVE to be SCUBA-certified in order to swim with them. In case you haven't gotten your certification yet and want to go for a swim with the whale sharks, then get it soon before heading there.

While diving with the whale sharks, you will be spending the whole time with trainers, hence your safety is assured. Once you are inside the swimming area, you will spend 30 precious minutes swimming around and meeting these giant fishes. You can now be a part of this wonderful experience at $189.95 (for members) and $233.95 for (non-members). You can get the tickets online today at the Georgia Aquarium website and head here for more details.
