Mountain Dew's latest Halloween treat 'VooDew' is here to make your Halloween better and the internet is already obsessed!
The rumors were true! Mountain Dew has indeed upped their game and released this year's Halloween special - VooDew after Pitch Black. The 2019 special titled VooDew is a mystery flavor and if you want to know how it tastes like, you'll have to try it yourself. The cover of the bottle is dressed in colors of Halloween and features a creepy cloak man who has just bones for fingers.
Since it is a fall special, the first guess of the flavor totally goes to the drink being something 'pumpkin' but maybe it is something lemony? This is considering the color of Dew is unlike any Dew we have seen so far and is a milky translucent. The bottles are still not ten a penny but are slowly starting to show up across stores as they were released this August 14.
But does it taste like lemons? Apparently not. Even though we don't have an official word on it, the Instagrammer has revealed it tastes like - "Orange Cream or Candy Corn." Candy Corn sounds better and more Halloween-ish, isn't it?
A couple of food bloggers who also (somehow) got hold of the drink, currently unavailable, have revealed that it is more on the orange cream side.
A Youtube channel called 'myCountryMarket' has uploaded their review in an episode called 'Two Bald Guys Eat Stuff and Talk About It' and yes, they are funny. "It's a rumor no longer...Mountain Dew is coming out with something called VoodDew this Fall around Halloween! But what does this Limited Edition clearish colored liquid Mystery Flavor taste like?" they captioned the video in which they taste the drink and reveal it is like an "orange creamsicle."
Will you be trying out the spooky Halloween special? Hey, at least the bottle looks totally Instagramable and will suit your Halloween decor! Check out the video review below!
It's only August but everybody is feeling those Halloween vibes already. Skittles, too, is releasing a spooky special for the year and guess what? It is zombie flavored! 'What is a zombie flavor?' The zombie skittles will feature normal Skittles and zombie ones all colored the same so unless you bite into one, you will not know what flavor it is and that's the fun part. Can you escape the zombies?
And, to make it more fun, the normal flavors inside the pack have also been given fun names like - Petrifying Citrus Punch, Mummified Melon, Boogeyman Blackberry, Chilling Black Cherry, and Blood Red Berry.
Okay here's a counter idea, what if zombie skittles are just skittles with a Halloween flavor like I don't know, say pumpkin spice? Guess we'll find out soon. Are you willing to put a zombie candy in your mouth? Catch rotten zombie flavored Skittles in stores near you this coming Halloween season for $3.95 a bag of 10.5 ounces.
