An Interactive Horror Exhibit Featuring 'Friday The 13th', 'Beetlejuice' And More Is Coming To LA

The exhibit lets fans inside the world of 'The Shining', 'IT', 'Lost Boys', 'Nightmare on Elm Street' and many other horror classics.

In case you are not aware, a safe haven for horror fans EXIST and it lets people inside the world of legendary scary movies.

I Like Scary Movies, an interactive horror paradise no other, has launched their first-ever Friday the 13th room and if you're a major Jason fan like us, you need to check it out!



Opening to the public soon, the event kicks off on September 20 to be exact and will run all through November 17, as reported by Bloody Disgusting.

Produced by Ultra Productions, the exhibit is already home to other classics like The Shining, Nightmare on Elm Street, IT, The Shining, Lost Boys, and Beetlejuice and all of those rooms are absolutely incredible and 100% Instagram friendly.



'I Like Scary Movies is a groundbreaking interactive art installation that is a true celebration of some of the most beloved horror films. Attendees can expect to experience the iconic horror films that they love in a completely new way with unique art creations by Maximillian and incredible photo opportunities. Guests will “visit” Crystal Lake from Friday the 13th; check out The Shining’s Overlook Hotel to meet the creepy twins; and wander through Beetlejuice’s graveyard on the way to the Netherworld Waiting Room. Fans are also welcome to enter Freddy’s boiler room from A Nightmare on Elm Street on their way to Pennywise’s lair from IT,' reads the description of the all-new Halloween event coming soon.



Happening in Los Angeles, 'I Like Scary Movies' is a 25,000 square feet wide space, which is about half a football field, and it features scenes from iconic cult movies.

The first of its kind horror exhibit is loaded with amazing details and allows you to escape from Overlook Hotel's window, witness the bloody hallway from Shining, share a balloon with Pennywise, and sit on Beetlejuice's iconic couch!



Visitors are allowed to spend about 90 minutes inside the exhibit in one go and it is plenty of time to explore your favorite movies and click pictures you'll cherish for a lifetime.

'Not designed as a jump scare traditional haunt, the I Like Scary Movies exhibit is a perfect way to re-live movies that inspired the horror genre. During the incredibly successful first installment of the exhibit last spring, thousands of fans from every state in the U.S. and various countries reveled in the one-of-a-kind experience inspired by some of Warner Bros. Pictures’ and New Line Cinema’s most iconic scary films, resulting in countless photos shared around the world. The exhibit also had its share of celebrity guests, who joined in to share their love of scary movies.' Are you game?



Opened this April, the exhibit is already attracting a LOT of attention and becoming popular for all the right reasons. In fact, various celebrities like Ash Costello, Jojo Wright, Tommy Chong, and many more have visited the place and shared incredible snaps from the exhibit to their social media.
