This year, the festival takes place in the town of Salem from October 3 to October 27, with a whole host of premieres, parties, celebrity appearances, and live performances. This year's edition also features a mini-convention at Pickering Wharf called Haunted Harbor, at Salem Waterfront Hotel, where guests can attend parties, panels, vendors and celebrity meet and greets during the first two weekends of October. Horror fans, mark your calendars! The festival this year features appearances by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, John Kassir of Tales From the Crypt, Quinn Lord of Trick r’ Treat, Rachel True from The Craft, Linnea Quigley (The Return of the Living Dead), Amelia Kinkade (Night of the Demons), Jason Marsden (Hocus Pocus), Mark Patton (A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy’s Revenge), and Maurizio Guarini (Goblin).
