Hallmark Is Airing 40 New Christmas Movies Starting This Friday And We Are Beyond Excited

If you are feeling all Christmassy, take out those Christmas trees and lights, make your favorite holiday dishes because it's time for you to start watching holiday movies all under the comfort of your blanket.

We are just 62 days away from Christmas but looks like we might be getting into the festive spirit sooner than we think. We know its the month of October and Halloween is almost around the corner, but Hallmark Channel has already brought us Christmas with its new holiday movie programming.

If you are feeling all Christmassy, take out those Christmas trees and lights, make your favorite holiday dishes because it's time for you to start watching some Christmas movies all under the comfort of your blanket.

We had all been patiently waiting for Hallmark's “Countdown to Christmas” and it is finally kicking off tomorrow! All these days of waiting and all we have to do now is to hold on for one more day and we will finally get our favorite Hallmark stars lifting up our festive spirits!

Countdown to Christmas will kick off the plethora of holiday movies starting, Friday, October 25 on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

And if you look at the lineup, you will notice several familiar faces, including our favorites like Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Rachael Leigh Cook, Jodie Sweetin, Erin Krakow, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Danica McKellar and of course Kristin Chenoweth in the marquee movie, Hallmark Hall of Fame's A Christmas Love Story.

Our happiness knew no bounds when Hallmark had earlier announced that it will air a record-breaking 40 Christmas movies this year -- 24 movies on the original channel while 16 of them will debut on Hallmark's sister network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

It doesn't get any better than this considering it is almost time for your perfect binge-watching session this year. The channel is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, so obviously we have got more movies lined up this year than ever before.

"The tenth year will be the biggest, boldest Christmas in Hallmark Channel history," Crown Media executive VP of programming Michelle Vicary was quoted as saying by EW.

"Over the ten years, we have endeavored to be the no. 1 holiday destination and achieved that over the last several years. What was different about last year — and what’s going to be really big about this year — is just how culturally relevant this has become in people’s minds beyond the programming, where we have towns asking if they can decorate themselves like a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, and people having watch parties," she added.
