Season 6 is yet to premiere and Netflix has already renewed the show for another season. But, sadly, it will also be the last of the long-running comedy series.

In case you are not aware, the streaming giant renewed the show for season 6 earlier this year before season 5 even premiered. However, we didn't know when the season was coming but we do now and it is sooner than what we expected the release date to be!
Netflix has announced that Grace and Frankie season 6 is coming to the streaming giant next year in January but just when fans began to celebrate, the network revealed that the seventh installment will be the last we see of our favorite ladies. Grace and Frankie is officially coming to an end and the feeling is bittersweet, mostly bitter.

Well, at least season 6 isn't the last one, right? After that ending of season 5, many were convinced season 6 will be the last one.
Starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, Grace and Frankie first aired in 2015 and has been running strong ever since. The popularity of the show is only reaching new heights which is the reason why the show featuring the sarcastic duo is returning for two more seasons.
The show revolves around two women, who used to absolutely dislike each other, hit with reality when their husbands reveal that they are gay and in love. Their husbands leave and the women are doomed to live with each other. The show has received praises from critics and has proven to be an award player for Netflix, bagging several awards and nominations.
The fifth season of the show was made available on Netflix on January 18 and was very well received by the fans. The season revolves around the (Spoilers Ahead) struggles faced by Robert to adjust in the gay community. Grace comes in terms with her inner romantic and Frankie decides to do something for herself while Sol gets a dog.
But soon, things mess up and take an incredible twist! The chemistry of Academy Award-winning actress Jane Fonda and Grammy recipient Lily Tomlin is remarkable and the two prestigious actresses charmingly keep the audience glued to their screens. The original cast of the show is returning for the upcoming seasons as well.
