Funko Is Selling 'Mistress Of The Dark' Elvira Pop Figure For Your Halloween Decor

You can own a funky Mistress of the Dark pop figure from Funko which looks eerily similar to the classic Cassandra Peterson character.

Would you call yourself a Mistress Of The Dark fan if you don't have some sort of Elvira memorabilia to show for it? Well, of course, you can! But, we thought we should show you this amazing Elvira doll in the market to your attention. The character brought to life by Cassandra Peterson in the 1988 comedy-horror film, Elvira: Mistress Of The Dark is one to behold as a reminder of the witch's sarcasm and wit. Continuing on the things we can do during the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown series, we bring to you this doll to narrow down your options for the upcoming Halloween season.

The 'Funko Elvira, Mistress of the Dark Pop! Television Elvira Deluxe Vinyl Figure' reintroduces us to the iconic picture of the witch on a red sofa. This Hot Topic exclusive merch is priced at $35 and deserves the cream of the crop for the Elvira lineup we have seen so far. The product description on the website reads: "Halloween icon and quintessential symbol of all things spooky, Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, is given a fun, and funky, stylized look as an adorable collectible vinyl figure on her iconic red sofa!" This classic toy is available for purchase on Funko and Hobbydb official sites and comes with a $5 shipping surcharge on every order. Elvira herself took to Facebook to announce and unveil the toy to her fans. In her post, she said: "Well, I guess the cat’s out of the bag... er... the Mistress is out of the box?? Here’s your first look at the new Deluxe ELVIRA Funko Pop! Coming to Hot Topic stores this September!"

Elvira on the couch isn't the only toy available on Funko either, there are in fact 16 other toys in the range with ELVIRA (PURPLE) (DIAMOND GLITTER) the highest priced product at $105. You can also buy other Elvira themed merch such as a keyring for $10 and a T-shirt for $20. For the uninitiated, Elvira: Mistress Of The Dark,  is directed by James Signorelli and is based on a screenplay by Sam Egan, Cassandra Peterson, and John Paragon. The movie was made on a $7.5 million budget and made a paltry $5.5 million becoming a box-office dud. Despite the poor numbers, the movie has a considerable fan following which can be seen with the increased sales of the lead character's toy lineup. Cassandra Peterson, Elvira herself,  slipped back into her Elvira costume once again last year, making an appearance at the Salem Horror Fest which took place in June. Besides interacting with fans, she was also available at the Haunted Harbor for photo ops, autographs, and selfies!
