Freeform Just Announced Its '25 Days of Christmas' Lineup — It's A Treasure Trove Of Classics

Keeping up with its tradition of blocking out an entire month for holiday-inspired specials, the network's holiday festivities officially kicks off on December 1.

With Halloween finally done and dusted, we can now turn our undivided attention to a season filled with snow, decked up Christmas trees, and evenings spent around the fireplace with a glass of eggnog. If you, like me, cannot wait any longer to swap out the spooky decor for some tinsel and holly, Freeform has some exciting news for you. The network recently announced its '25 Days of Christmas' lineup and it is everything a holiday classics fan could ask for.

According to a report by Teen Vogue, keeping up with its tradition of blocking out an entire month for holiday-inspired specials, Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas officially kicks off on December 1. Fans of all things merry and bright are in for a whole month of some of the best Christmas classics out there, including the likes of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Home Alone 2. Furthermore, viewers will also be treated to a few new Freeform originals that are sure to amp up the holiday spirit and leave us happy dancing in our Santa suits.

Among the new Freeform originals is the Aisha Dee and Kimiko Glenn starrer Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas which makes its official television debut on December 4 at 9 p.m. The movie is already being hailed a brand new holiday rom-com favorite with the plot revolving around Jess (Aisha) "who goes on the greatest first date of her life, but inadvertently 'ghosts' Ben when she tragically dies in a car accident on the way home." Jess then teams up with her best friend Kara (Kimiko)—the only person who can still hear her—to continue her romantic quest and reach her Mr. Right.

While Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas sounds like something you should definitely keep an eye out for, the list of movies Freeform has lined up for day 1 of the festivities are just too good to be missed. Starting with Richie Rich’s Christmas Wish at 7 a.m. the whole day is then packed with the likes of Deck the Halls, Arthur Christmas, The Simpsons Holiday-thon, The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone: The Holiday Heist, and The Little Drummer Boy. I don't know about you, but I definitely won't be leaving my couch all day on December 1. Check out the full '25 Days of Christmas' lineup here:
