It looks like the Griswolds are returning to the big screen once again after 30 years, letting us relive the good ol' days of the iconic Christmas movie.
It looks like Christmas 2019 is going to be more fun than we expected. We have already discussed a wide array of trends that have come up before Christmas this year and with December just a few weeks away, most of us are already making a list of movies to binge-watch during the holiday season.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is one of our all-time favorite Christmas movies and even though it came out 30 years ago, it still feels the same whenever we watch the holiday classic.
'Christmas Vacation' is one of the few movies that stood the test of time and it is being discovered by every new generation. The Griswolds are returning to the big screen and they are all ready to celebrate the 30th anniversary, reports 103gbfrocks.
The movie was released on December 1, 1989, and since then it has become one of the biggest holiday cult classics. Down the years, it has almost become a compulsory ritual to watch the movie every single time, it's on our TV screens, but this time, it looks like the ritual will change a bit.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation will be showing for one week at AMC Theaters for the 30th anniversary and it will also be showing in Evansville during the week of 12/6 to 12/12. You can get all the details about the show timings right here.
And while we are on the topic of the Griswolds, an entire ceramic village inspired by the movie is now available for you to buy this holiday season. The fans of the movie can now get the replica of Griswold's house and can make their very own set of figurines and buildings based on the movie.
The entire ceramic village collection is being sold in mix-and-match pieces on Amazon through a store called Department 56, a shop that entirely specializes in quirky Christmas decorations.

The Griswold house collection is available with plenty of twinkly lights that really light up and it would look absolutely perfect under that Christmas tree.
But these decorative pieces do not come cheap. The hand-painted, snow-dusted yellow house costs $130 and it is one of the most expensive items in the whole collection.
