You Can Now Do Virtual Workouts With Chris Hemsworth For Free, So Count Me In

It looks like the God of Thunder wants us to stay fit even during isolation as he is offering six weeks of free virtual workout sessions with him.

Since the Coronavirus pandemic has completely disrupted our day to day lives and put all of us under a lot of stress, it is very important that we find ways to stay stress-free while social distancing. One of the best ways to do it is by exercising. One of the hardest parts of facing the quarantine is staying active. Staying housebound for weeks will definitely flatten your fitness curve since we can do benchpresses only so many times. But, we have some good news for people in isolation as the God of Thunder himself is here to help you reach your fitness goal even during the isolation season.

The MCU actor has announced that his fitness and better living app Centr is going to be free for the next six weeks where they will make fitness routines and instructions accessible to the entire world. Not only can you learn how to work out when you are home, but you can also get to know what to eat during the pandemic and how to maintain your diet once it ends.

Hemsworth made this announcement on his Instagram page this Monday where he said, "I hope you're all staying healthy and strong out there — just wanted to check-in. A lot of fear, a lot of anxiety, a lot of uncertainty in the world at the moment. You're probably stuck at home, so I wanted to give everybody full access for free to my fitness app for the next six weeks."

He added, "On this app, there's training experts, nutritional advice, chefs, meditation teachers, sleep visualizations. The three key ingredients to leading a healthier, happier life." He captioned the video writing: Centr was founded to make health and happiness accessible to all, and I hope that this will make that access even easier during the current health crisis. As reported by Insider, the Asgardian God of Thunder announced this shortly after Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the shutting down of gyms and leisure centers in order to control COVID-19.

In order to subscribe to Centr, it would cost you $10/ month, and the free six-week trial is only available to people who sign up before March 31. It does not matter where do you stand on the fitness scale as the app is reportedly designed to work for all kinds of people. Apart from that, it will also give you advice from 20 coaches including Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky. It is very evident that Hemsworth is a fitness enthusiast, but he admits that he enjoyed wearing a fat suit for the last Avengers movie and found it "hugely liberating and fun.”

In a conversation with PEOPLE, he said, "We had a sort of fat suit that I think was 60 or 70 pounds. It was the hottest I’ve ever been. We had the beard, the hair, these things that go in the mouth that sort of plump my cheeks a bit, which sort of had a little effect on the voice as well but in a good way, it was a different Thor."
