The Netflix teen fantasy drama has wrapped up its filming and something very wicked is coming our way very soon.
Something very wicked is coming to Greendale and it's coming soon. As reported by Narcity, season 4 of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has reportedly finished filming. Season 4 was filmed in Vancouver, Canada and the cast shared a few pictures to celebrate the event. The first season of the show premiered in October 2018 and the second season released in 2019. The third season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina released in January 24, 2020 and all three seasons were met with excellent response from audience and critics alike.
As reported by What's Filming, the production of season 4 began in May 2019 and it got over in February 2020. There is no official release date for season 4 yet, but given the speed of the production, it can be expected to release sometime early 2021.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is based on Archie comic books of the same name and it follows the story of Sabrina Spellman, who is a half-human and half-witch and is trying to balance both her human and demonic world. As the cast has finished playing their roles for the fourth season, series star Kiernan Shipka has shared some of the pictures on Instagram. Shipka posted selfies with her on-screen love interest Nicholas Scratch and captioned the picture, saying, "That's a season wrap on Gavin Leatherwood. And I have to say, he's pretty great. #NabrinaNation". Leatherwood commented, "KIERNAN SHIPKA I LOVE YOU".
Shipka also shared a few pictures and selfies with her on-screen aunts, Hilda and Zelda and she captioned the picture, writing, "That's a season wrap on LUCY DAVIS. She's my queen and my sunshine. And that's a season wrap on MIRANDA OTTO. She's an effortlessly elegant, badass force of nature. I love them x 1000".
Miranda Otto posted a few snaps herself, writing, "The Spellmans have left da house for their annual mortal vacay." In another picture, she wrote, "Shipping out after 10 months. bye bye Greendale."
To celebrate the season 4 production wrapping up, Shipka announced that she will be handling the show's Instagram account and revealed the news by posting an adorable selfie of her and her on-screen love interest. Shipka also hinted at a potential Riverdale and Sabrina crossover as she posted a picture with KJ Apa and Casey Cott. She captioned the picture, writing, "Riverdale is a big, scary place..."
Luke Cook, who plays the character of Lucifer Morningstar, Sabrina's on-screen father also gave his on-screen daughter a shout-out in a post where he announced the end of season 4 production. He wrote, "I know it looks like we have lots of fun on set, and that we all really like each other, but what’s amazing is that it’s actually true. And it’s not a fluke. It’s because we’re lead by people like @kiernanshipka ... I know she’s my daughter and I’m biased, but I think it’s fair to say we’re all in awe of her and her beautiful attitude."
