The American supernatural horror web series will pick from where it left off—Nicholas Scratch being taken to Hell, and the new season will surround Sabrina's attempts to rescue him. Sabrina's friends don't want to let her go alone to hell and are likely to join her. 'The Fright Club', consisting of Sabrina's mortal friends — Harvey, Rosalind, and Theo — will assist Sabrina in her boyfriend from eternal damnation.
Netflix announced the date for the new season with a teaser trailer that showed Sabrina Spellman, played by Kiernan Shipka, walking into hell with an ominous voiceover saying, " Welcome to Hell." The third part will land on Netflix come January 24.

While Sabrina may have defeated her father, Lucifer, the Dark Lord is trapped within the body of her love, Nicholas Scratch. A scene from the trailer shows Sabrina hugging Nick, to only realize that it still holds prison the dark lord's spirit. She is then seen waking up from a nightmare. The video also gives us a glimpse of the new character Prince Caliban, played by Sam Corlett.
Netflix has also released a music video with sneak peeks into scenes from the third part of the web series. The video intercuts between Kiernan Shipka singing the track, Straight to Hell, and scenes from the third part of the season. Set against Satanic imagery, Kiernan Shipka sings: I’m not afraid to take that chance, ’cause let me tell ya, When it comes to love, I’m going straight to hell.” The other cast members can be seen dancing in the backdrop as Ross Lynch's Harvey plays the guitar.
In the new season, Sabrina will lock horns with Caliban, the prince of hell. "The Dark Lord's unseating has sent shockwaves through the realms—and, with no one on the throne, Sabrina must assume the title of “Queen” to defend it against a challenger, the handsome Prince of Hell Caliban. Meanwhile, in Greendale, a mysterious carnival rolls into town, bringing with it a threat to the Spellmans and the coven: A tribe of pagans looking to resurrect an ancient evil," reads the plot description of the new season.
The series is a reimagining of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which ran from 1996-2003. Aguirre-Sacasa, the writer and producer, is excited about part three of the series. "I think it’s safe to say that we are going to Hell, yes. We’re going to Hell. It’s very fun. It’s very fun. It’s dangerous, but it’s really fun," said Aguirre-Sacasa, according to Elle.
