The special pop-up bar based on the iconic 1989 Tim Burton movie is coming to the Windy City this month and will open its doors on October 17.
Ask any self-respecting Halloween fan and they will all answer in one voice: There is no Halloween without Tim Burton. The goth director and artist rode into the horror halls of fame with some of the BEST movies ever made and no matter how many October evenings we spend watching them, we just can't seem to get enough of them.
The hauntingly beautiful and dark plots of his films have all been executed so well that it would almost be a crime not to share the masterpieces with anyone and everyone you know. To be honest, the great Tim Burton and his work need no introduction, but if at all you know someone who hasn't been blessed with his talent, I know just the place you should take them to.
According to a report by NBC Chicago, a special pop-up bar based on the iconic 1989 Tim Burton movie Beetlejuice is coming to the Windy City this month. Hosted at Bassline, 2239 S. Michigan Ave., the pop-up has been named 'House of Beetle' and sounds like everything you could hope for in a Beetlejuice-themed pop-up bar. Customers will reportedly be offered themed cocktails, two scavenger hunts daily, music, and a photo booth at this spooky bar.
With tickets for the interactive experience priced at $15, House of Beetle will also have live interactive cosplay characters at the venue. Customers can also witness several inspired recreated scenes from the movie unfold at the pop-up bar and if that's not your idea of the perfect October evening, I don't know what is. The spooktacular pop-up bar will open its doors on October 17 and could be the perfect Halloween warm-up you and your pals need. Get into your Halloween bests and head on over to House of Beetle to celebrate the "the ghost with the most."

Those who aren't in Chicago needn't feel left out in all the Beetlejuice madness as you still have the opportunity to experience Burton's magic at the Beetlejuice-themed restaurants in New York and Los Angeles. The Beetle House gothic bar and restaurant plays music from iconic Burton movies all day long and celebrates Halloween throughout the year! So just pop on over to this unique dining experience any time you can for the time of your life. Trust me, if it were up to me, I'd practically live at the Beetle House all day every day!
