The ice cream chain recently announced the "spooktacular line-up of menu options" hitting stores this month.
Rejoice, ladies and gentlemen! Halloween season is finally in full swing and it's time for us to let loose our spooky sides once again. Baskin-Robbins, for one, appears to have been flexing its spooky side for quite some time now as the brand's October line-up of festive Halloween treats is just out of this world. The ice cream chain recently announced the "spooktacular line-up of menu options" hitting stores this month and I must say, they've hit the nail straight through the zombie's head. I say "zombie" because the fan-favorite spooky undead horror trope appears to be the theme of Baskin-Robbins' Halloween line-up.
I mean, they actually put a zombie hand on one of their seasonal offerings! How much more obvious can it get? This fun element awaits those who try out the Fright Night Scoop. Advertised as something for those "looking for a ghastly good time," the Friday Night Scoop is described as "a devilishly good treat that includes a scoop of the Candy Mashup ice cream topped with a Halloween sprinkle mix and a white chocolate zombie hand."
The Candy Mashup just so happens to be the October Flavor of the Month and is a "chocolate-flavored ice cream with Snickers, caramel cup pieces, and a salty caramel ribbon." In a press release about the exciting new line-up, the Senior Vice President of Baskin-Robbins U.S. and Canada, Jason Maceda said, "October is all about being creative and getting into the Halloween spirit, and our fun and the festive lineup this month reflects that attitude. We’ve released some fantastic treats like the Fright Night Scoop, the Ghost Cake and the Spider Web Cookie Cake to help Halloween fanatics and ice cream lovers take in all of those ghostly good feels, and our Candy Mashup Flavor of the Month combines guests’ favorite candy flavors into one treat that’s perfect for a Halloween party."
Other Baskin-Robbins seasonal treats on offer this month are the Halloween-inspired cakes starting at just $12.99. Featuring the likes of the Ghost Cake—"a colorful striped cake topped with buttercream ghosts, pieces of Kit-Kat, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chocolate drips, and a Halloween sprinkle mix"—these cakes can be customized and order online from the Order.BaskinRobbins.com website or through the official Baskin-Robbins app. If all these amazing treats are enough to make your Halloween spooky enough, the ice cream chain also has a special offer on October 31st where "guests can stop into their local Baskin-Robbins and enjoy ice cream scoops for just $1.70 and get two pre-packed quarts for just $7.99." Happy Halloween, y'all!
