Official Teaser Of 'American Horror Story: 1984' Is HERE And It Takes You Back To The '80s

Ryan Murphy has finally ditched his silence and released a teaser revealing the full cast of the show with Emma Roberts in lead.

It is HERE! The teaser we have all been waiting for months has finally arrived and it features the cast of the show dressed like people from the '80s and it is the best thing ever!

Ryan Murphy, the man behind the longest and most successful horror show on FX, took to Instagram to post a series of teasers, revealing the actors we will be seeing in the upcoming season and well, even though we see familiar faces, it looks like we will have to do without the people we love the most.

Like we all previously guessed, the season indeed has a slasher-summer camp theme like Friday the 13th and is surely going to be a treat for horror fans. In the teaser, Emma Roberts enters being cute and adorable, for a change, so we're gonna go ahead and assume she is going to be a 'good' girl this season, most probably the last girl. To our joy, Cody Fern is returning too and boy, does he look all glam and hot.

Our supreme from 'Apocalypse' Billie Lourde is back too and she appears to be playing the kind of role Emma Roberts would usually play. Still, dressed in 80's vibes, all the characters look iconic and we are here for it!

Other cast members featured dancing to classic beats in the teaser are Matthew Morrison, Angelica Ross, Gus Kenworthy, Leslie Grossman, Zach Villa, and DeRon Horton. Okay cool. But, what about the regulars???

Well, Sarah previously revealed in an interview that she has no idea if she'd be back or not and it turns out, she wasn't kidding after all. The soul of the show who has appeared in all the seasons so far is NOT a part of this highly anticipated slasher season.

"I don't really know the answer to that. I think... all I can say is I know the least about this season upcoming that I've known about any season. I don't even know...yeah, that's all I can say. Usually, I have more information at this point, and I'm bugging Ryan with questions. Right now, I don't have a lot and yeah, I'm so busy with Ratched, it's hard for me to think about anything beyond that," she told SYFY.

She might still make a small cameo in 1984, reports Variety, but we highly doubt it. Evan Peters, too, is sitting the slasher season out as he is not up for the violence and gore. "Yeah, I'm not doing it anymore. I just made a decision. I said to myself, "I can't do it anymore." It's not me. It's not who I am! I'm goofy, I'm silly, I like to have fun. I don't like to yell and scream. I actually hate it," he told GQ in an interview.

"I think it's disgusting and really awful, and it's been a challenge for me. Horror Story sort of demanded that of me...It's hurting my soul and Evan as a person. There's this massive amount of rage that's been called upon from me, and the emotional stuff that's been called on me for Pose has been heartbreaking, and I'm sick. I don't feel good," Peters added, breaking our hearts but well, we understand.

Since Sarah and Peters are not going to be a part of the show, we hoped to see other regulars like Lily Rabe, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, hell, we even hoped Jessica Lange would change her mind and return but turns out, none of them have any plans of making a comeback and we'll have to get through the season without them.

Hopefully, this time around, the storyline will actually be good? Watch American Horror Story: 1984 on FX this September 18th and find for yourself! Will you be watching?
