All it takes is a few hours and you can build the backyard guest house all by yourself for just $7,250 from Amazon.
For millennials, building a guest house will always be a strenuous task, considering the amount of money needed and getting the whole construction work going...it is not our cup of tea. But now, you can now build your own backyard house in 8 hours, thanks to Amazon and the product seller, Allwood. Yes, all it takes is a few hours, and you can build it all by yourself for just $7,250.00, reports Bustle.
Now if you are wondering the DIY guest house might cost a lot in shipping, fret not. The price includes free shipping and it is particularly good news considering the approximate weight of the cabin is 2480 lbs and it comes with 172 square feet. The tiny space is perfect if you are looking for storage or just for pure fun.
The cabin is “made from high-quality Nordic wood,” the product description states. “This timeless design is an alternative to classic log cabin styled structures. It works well in a variety of surroundings,” the description reads. And if you are wondering if you can get it in time for summer, this is the perfect time to buy! The shipping usually takes about 3 weeks to 5 weeks and it seems totally worth the wait!
According to Amazon, the estimated assembly time takes about eight hours for two adults. Now if you are not used to building stuff from IKEA, the time may vary. But we are certain it won't take beyond a day. So when you are going to work on Monday, you can tell your co-worker that you just built an entire guest house all by yourself.
The DIY cabin is the “ideal home office or guest house,” especially if tiny houses are your thing. Or you can make it your gaming zone, and just chill out with your mates.
People have been going crazy ever since they came to know about the DIY cabin. Some even took to Twitter to share their excitement. "Only takes 8 hours to build....if you know what you're doing! LOL! But I would for sure put one in my yard," a Twitter user said.
Before you jump on this check your local zoning laws or you'll be sorry.— Ms. D (@meghankathleend) May 8, 2019
Meanwhile, another added: "I’ve always wanted to build my children a getaway house ... this one isn’t bad at all" A third added: "Sure, it’d take me 800 hours and 3 replacement kits for broken parts but still sounds fun."

The tiny house is all yours, but let us notify you before-hand that if you want to add anything extra like HVAC or electricity to this DIY home, you'll need to do that yourself. It doesn't include any of those amenities but then again, once you own it, you can give it a paint job and decorate as you wish! We'd also like to remind that the kit does not include roof shingles and foundation materials, which Allwood estimates will cost about $150 and $170 respectively.
Now we can't wait to get our hands on this and the fact that you can turn it into a guest house, an arcade, a studio—whatever your heart desires, just makes it even better!
