The Mummy is a remake of the 1932 Universal monster film of the same name. The Mummy starring Brendan Fraser was one of the biggest hits of summer 1999 and grew into two sequels and a spinoff franchise. In fact, Brendan Fraser recently admitted that he is totally up for another The Mummy film, as long as it has all the 'essential ingredients'. According to Cinema Blend, he said, "Absolutely! Just gotta say, I know how hard it is to make that movie. I tried to do it three times, and the essential ingredient is fun. You gotta remember to have fun.
